CNC Machining, explained

Complex large-format geometry has to be machined to print. Floe Thermoforming's 5-axis and 4-axis CNC centers reference the formed part to fixture datums, holding repeatable hole and feature position that hand routing can't match. The formed parts themselves are trimmed in robotic cells.

Machining on the same floor as forming means the machining program and the tool are developed together, and a large part never ships out for secondary machining.
